+ Kitchen Scale is needed.

 

* Cup, Sponge, Netcup

At first, I tried hydroponics using PET soda bottles. But I changed my system later to plastic cup + lid + netcup.

(I used soda bottle neck before I got net cup. I bought netcup from AliExpress with trackable delivery to my house. It took 18 days for the delivery.)

The sponge is needed to be soft enough for penetration of roots.

I use PET bottles for tomato plants. Now my tomatoes are growing fast. I need bigger bottles.

No gap is required between lid, netcup and bottom cup. Otherwise, mosquito can breed and larvae will be found in the solution. (Oh, No!!)

 

 

* Hydroponic Nutrient Solution

(No hydroponic nutrient solution is sold in Nepal now, I guess. I need to prepare it by myself.)

 

Solution A : Water 1L + Water Soluble NPK Fertilizer (w/ME) 2g + Epsom Salt 1g 

Solution B : Water 1L + Calcium Nitrate 2g

Mix A + B well. (TDS ~800ppm)

 

TDS Meter is required to measure the concentration of nutrient solution.

pH Paper is unnecessary. Solution pH is normally in neutral range.

 

 

* Seeds (bought from Daraz)

Hybrid Seeds Or Local Seeds.
